An Editorial
Every Truth without exception, and whoever may utter it, is from the Holy Ghost.

You may be wondering WHY We have chosen a photograph of a weeping statue of Our Lady of Fatima to help you to better visualize Our Editorial? The answer to this "mystery" will hopefully become much more clear as you continue to read this Editorial.
The things also that are of God no man knoweth, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit that is of God; that we may know the things that are given us from God. Which things also we speak, not in the learned words of human wisdom; but in the doctrine of the Spirit, comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual. But the sensual man perceiveth not these things that are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand, because it is Spiritually examined.
For a variety of reasons, for many, many years, various people with whom We have come into contact, whether in person, or by Our writings, have had a difficult time in understanding the Truth We speak, whether verbally or in writing.
But, even more importantly, some of them FEEL that We must be a Schismatic or even a Heretic!
Some people even have emotional feelings of bitterness, animosity, anger, hatred, resentment, etc., because of these things, either towards Us personally, or towards the Truth We speak, whether verbally or in writing.
Some poor people, grossly misunderstanding or somehow twisting or otherwise convoluting the Truth of what We speak, whether verbally or in writing, have actually accused Us of being either or both a Schismatic and a Heretic. Such poor people seem like born-again contemporaries of Jesus Christ, some of whom are quoted in the Gospels as having rejected the Truth which Christ taught them, as We read:
Many therefore of His disciples, hearing it, said: This saying is hard, and who can hear it? But Jesus, knowing in Himself, that His disciples murmured at this, said to them: Doth this scandalize you? (John 6:61-62; emphasis added).In like manner, then, do many people, upon hearing Us, or reading what We have written, say, whether to themselves or to others: This saying is hard, and who can hear it?
There are also those who take scandal at what We say, whether verbally or in writing, just as some of the contemporaries of Jesus Christ took scandal at the Truth He taught them!
Of course, scandal taken, is not necessarily scandal given. Assuredly, Christ did not give His contemporaries any scandal except, to the minds of some of them who were of the worldly, materialistic, selfish, vain, pride-filled and evil people of His generation!
Thus, history repeats itself once again today! So the bottom line is that We have had and continue to have, with certain contemporaries of this age of anti-Christ, possibly of THE anti-Christ, the same experiences which Christ Himself had with most of His contemporaries almost 2,000 years ago because human nature does not change so that worldly, materialistic, selfish, vain, pride-filled and evil people always seek the lowest common denominator which is deception, deceit, falsehoods, fallacies, and sin rather than develop and nourish a love of the Truth and the living of a REAL Spiritual Life!
Such poor people are to be pitied, certainly not envied or emulated!
So, then, in this generation of anti-Christ, and most probably of THE anti-Christ, just because We do NOT agree with or do NOT do what the Vatican 2 church Clergy do, because We do not follow the Spiritually nugatory, indolent crowd of cosmopolitan Clerics, the older ones of whom take a daily bath in the waters of the Lethe to try to drown their consciences, that therefore, there must be something wrong with Us, at least to the minds of the scandal-takers of today, some of whom accuse Us of being a Schismatic or even a Heretic!
Not True! - Why?!
Do not be one of those timourous physicians who like their tranquility more than the saving of the sick...Even though Herodias should dance before Herod, should ask for John’s head and should obtain it from the detestable King, John’s duty is to cry out: “NON LICET!” [It is not permitted!] (Bishop Ivo of Chartres [b. This explains in part WHY We have cried out to the Vatican 2 church: “NON LICET!”
This also explains the HATRED
certain Hierarchs and other Clergy of the
Vatican
2 church have for Us!
Before We continue, We need to explain several things and to otherwise provide you with several definitions so that you have a working knowledge of some of the terms We use in Our writings, lest you become confused, or worse, the pawn of some devious Cleric of the Vatican 2 church.
For the record, lest there be even the shadow of a misunderstanding about this, for those of you who do not understand Our use of the term the Vatican 2 church, We would suggest and recommend that you read Our explanation of what We mean by the Vatican 2 church in the March 1, 1997 A.D. issue of Catholic - What is The "Vatican 2" church? where you will also find some rarely seen photographs as well! Perhaps after you read said issue, what you read in this Editorial will make much more sense to you?
By the Grace of God, We always have, and, hopefully, always will use what most of you would probably call the "Old Mass in Latin" as well as the pre-Vatican 2 PONTIFICALE ROMANUM and the pre-Vatican 2 RITUALE ROMANUM.
But it seems that many people somehow just FEEL that We are disobeying the Vatican 2 church Popes by not using the "New Mass", the Novus Ordo Missae as the Vatican 2 church Pope, Paul 6, Giovanni Battista Montini [Friday, June 21, 1963 - Sunday, August 6, 1978] called it.
In addition, many people somehow just FEEL that We are disobeying the Vatican 2 church Popes by not using the "New" Pontificale and the "New" Ritual for administering the Sacraments, for Blessings, etc.
Plus, some people somehow just FEEL that We are disobeying the Vatican 2 church Popes by not using the "New" Catechism of the Vatican 2 church.
Are such feelings really True or not True?!
Because the object of the intellect is Truth, not a person's emotional feelings, how is it possible to begin to respond to something, namely feelings, which do not have Truth as its formal, universal object?!
Or, as the Angelic Doctor teaches:
The object of the intellect is something universal, namely, [an objective, universal quiddity] "being" and [an objective, universal Truth] "the true," in which the act also of understanding is comprised. Wherefore the intellect can understand its own act. But not primarily, since the first object of our intellect, in this state of life, is not every being and everything true, but [an objective, universal quiddity] "being" and [an objective, universal Truth]"true," as considered in material things, as we have said above (Q[84], A[7]), from which it acquires knowledge of all other things. (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D. in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA I, 87, 3 Reply to Objection 1.)But it does not pertain to the intellect's perfection [as opposed to the object of the intellect] to know the truth of contingent singulars in themselves as stated below.
Therefore, feelings, per se, are unable to attain the proper object of the intellect, i.e. an objective, universal quiddity or, "being", and an objective, universal Truth "the true," because feeling is neither an operation of, nor an object of, the intellect, and this for the additional reason that feelings are subjective, not objective, and hence unable to attain such an objective, universal quiddity and an objective, universal Truth within the limitations of the very nature of emotional feelings as such!
Lest there be any misunderstanding of Our terms, quiddity is being, by which is understood the ontological essence of a thing, or as better expressed by the Angelic Doctor: all in one genus agree in the quiddity or essence of the genus which is predicated of them as an essential, but they differ in their existence. For the existence of man and of horse is not the same; as also of this man and that man: thus in every member of a genus, existence and quiddity---i.e. essence---must differ. Nor is any emotional feeling an operation of the will, the formal object of which is that which is good. The will, by the way, is the other power of the Soul, and complements the first power of the Soul, the intellect, because the will primarily and naturally acts only after the intellect acts, and not in potentia but in actu as Scholastic Philosophy teaches.
The Angelic Doctor gives a more precise definition of the object of the will in this exampled text:
I answer that, As the intellect is moved by the object and by the Giver of the power of intelligence, as stated above (A[3]), so is the will moved by its object, which is good, and by Him Who creates the power of willing. Now the will can be moved by good as its object, but by God alone sufficiently and efficaciously. For nothing can move a movable thing sufficiently unless the active power of the mover surpasses or at least equals the potentiality of the thing movable. Now the potentiality of the will extends to the [objective] universal good; for its object is the [objective] universal good; just as the object of the intellect is the [objective] universal being. But every created good is some particular good; God alone is the [objective] universal good. Whereas He alone fills the capacity of the will, and moves it sufficiently as its object. In like manner the power of willing is caused by God alone. For to will is nothing but to be inclined towards the object of the will, which is [the objective] universal good. But to incline towards the [objective] universal good belongs to the First Mover, to Whom the ultimate end is proportionate; just as in human affairs to him that presides over the community belongs the directing of his subjects to the common weal. Wherefore in both ways it belongs to God to move the will; but especially in the second way by an interior inclination of the will. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D. in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA I, 105, 4.)Therefore, from the above, it should be self-evident to all honest, sincere people that emotional feelings, which are subjective, are not included in the above definition of the universal objective of the will which is that which is good, or as the above text states: the [objective] universal good - but with this caveat, namely: but by God alone sufficiently and efficaciously. For nothing can move a movable thing sufficiently unless the active power of the mover surpasses or at least equals the potentiality of the thing movable.
Nevertheless, there is an intimate interaction between the will and the passions as you will discover below. And, of course, the passions include emotional feelings.
Feelings are part of what is called the sense appetite as a Commentator on the SUMMA THEOLOGICA writes:
While it is true that an angel can know and will, it is also unquestionably true that an angel cannot feel the excitement of racing blood, tragedy's sudden stab in the heart; it cannot be carried outside of itself with anger, faint at the sight of a snake or be overwhelmed by a rush of sorrow. For there is no room in the angels for emotions in the sense of passions or feelings. The angels, you see, have no bodies; and these passions are distinctly sensible or animal, movements of the sense appetite. (Walter Farrell, O.P., A Companion to the Summa, Volume 1, Chapter XI Angelic Saints and Sinners [Q. 59-60; 62-62]).So then human feelings are emotions in the sense of passions or feelings and passions are distinctly sensible or animal, movements of the sense appetite.
This Commentator then goes on to conclude:
Lest we rush to the conclusion that angels are cold, clammy, impersonal creatures, it would be well to remember that an angel's joyous song heralded the Savior's arrival in Bethlehem: that an angel shared the agony of Christ in the Garden -- and comforted Him; that the archangel Gabriel minced no words in reply to Zachary's disbelief of his message and did not hesitate to rap him sharply on the knuckles with that severe sentence, "thou shalt be dumb." Yet it was this same severe angel who immediately appreciated Mary's fear and surprise, and his first words were words of assurance to dispel that fear; the archangel Raphael was a matchmaker of the first order, smoothing the way for the seemingly impossible marriage of young Tobias. These are not the actions of living icebergs.Therefore, one's passions or emotional feelings can also be an immense danger to a man. In and of themselves, then, the passions or emotional feelings by their very nature have nothing to do with the Truth, per se, and thus are invalid when it comes to making a judgment about whether a certain person is good or evil, or has acted in a good or in an evil manner. They are certainly NOT objective in any sense of the word!The doubt about the warmth of the angels, however, persists. We think a man or woman without feelings, as fishy-eyed as a gambler, has something missing, is somehow queer, inhuman. As a matter of fact, we are right: such people are queer, as queer as a man without a head, for something belonging to human nature is not there. Lack of emotion is not at all virtuous; it may be a misfortune, making a man a monstrosity; or it may well be a vice. For man has not only a soul, he also has a body; he is not only rational, he is also animal; he has an intellectual appetite, but he also has a sensitive appetite. The movement of that sense appetite towards sensible objects, coming from the imaginative picture of good or evil and involving a physical or corporal reaction, is ordinarily called emotion, feeling or passion. So, for example, an actress who throws herself into a part can actually produce the corporal changes that mark out the path along which the sense appetite is running -- she can weep, blush, turn pale, tremble, gasp.
These passions, amoral in themselves, are of immense value to man. By their help a man can muster up the courage to ask for a raise in salary, by the simple trick, for instance, of getting himself angry enough; the atmosphere of a church or a few minutes on our knees can awaken the will's desire to pray. These passions, in a word, react on the intellectual appetite, spur it into action or, being deliberately aroused by the will, complete the circle and make the action of our will that much more intense. Using these passions of ours, the cunning of God not infrequently coaxes us into greater spiritual activity by doling out sensible sweetness and consolation to His children, coddling them a little or bestowing a pat of encouragement and reward.
By reason of this intimate interaction between the will and the passions, these latter can also be an immense danger to a man. They can overwhelm the intellectual appetite and put a man at the mercy of the same motive power that dictates the actions of beasts; in opposition to the will they can terrify it into paralysis, weaken its action, cool its intensity to a vapid, lukewarm, nauseous thing. The men who succumb to the terror of persecution, the seduction of sin's occasion, the respect of men, the despair of life are all living witnesses of the danger of passion out of control. On a milder scale, the steady death rate in good resolutions is eloquent testimony to the existence of a rival appetite which the will cannot regard lightly. Concerning the making of a judgment, when a person is highly emotional, or otherwise distressed or distraught or upset because the passions or emotions have been stirred up by whatever efficient cause or instrumental cause, one can usually predict with great probability that the outcome of such a judgment will be False, as opposed to True, if for no other reason than that it will be irrational! If a person's passions are thus predisposed say to anger or hatred or violence, there is a very good chance that the outcome of any judgment made at such a time will be saturated by anger, hatred or violence, etc.!
And so it is that judgments can be either True or False, as the Angelic Doctor teaches:
It is one thing to judge of things and another to judge of men. For when we judge of things, there is no question of the good or evil of the thing about which we are judging, since it will take no harm no matter what kind of judgment we form about it; but there is question of the good of the person who judges, if he judge truly, and of his evil if he judge falsely because "the true is the good of the intellect, and the false is its evil," as stated in Ethic. vi, 2, wherefore everyone should strive to make his judgment accord with things as they are. On the other hand when we judge of men, the good and evil in our judgment is considered chiefly on the part of the person about whom judgment is being formed; for he is deemed worthy of honor from the very fact that he is judged to be good, and deserving of contempt if he is judged to be evil. For this reason we ought, in this kind of judgment, to aim at judging a man good, unless there is evident proof of the contrary. And though we may judge falsely, our judgment in thinking well of another pertains to our good feeling and not to the evil of the intellect, even as neither does it pertain to the intellect's perfection to know the truth of contingent singulars in themselves. Therefore, HOW is it possible to rationally respond to such irrational emotional feelings and reactions? The object of the sense appetite is not Truth, it is not logic, and it is not objective in the sense of universal predicables, of human judgments (Viz. Our book SECRET 1, Secrets of Truth and Fallacies, ¶ 141-149, p. 24).
So then human feelings are emotions in the sense of passions or feelings and passions are distinctly sensible or animal, movements of the sense appetite.
We can only warn people not to indulge their irrational sense appetites of whatever negative feelings they might have, either towards Us, personally, and/or towards the Truths of which We speak, whether verbally or in writing, and then think that they have a criterion upon which Truth and Fallacies can be objectively ascertained and end up physically shaking from being overcome by their doubts, insecurities, fears, anger, resentment, hostility or hatred which either they themselves, or one or more other people have engendered within their sense appetites towards Us, as it is written above: By reason of this intimate interaction between the will and the passions, these latter can also be an immense danger to anyone who would indulge in them!
In any event, all such irrational behavior betokens a weak position, when compared to Our position of the strength and power of an universal, objective, absolute Truth, which certain people attempt to overcome, not with the rational force of Truth, but with the proverbial knee-jerk reaction of the irrational force of their emotions negatively impacted by their feelings and passions which can become the cause of terrible danger to their own immortal Souls!
And this is but an example of what is meant by what theologians and saints commonly say, that one [new] sin is often the punishment of another [previous] sin [e.g. in this case, such sins as - anger, vindictiveness, hatred, etc.]. But, for those who do not, or who do not so choose, to abandon their emotional feelings and passions in favor of the universal, objective, absolute Truth, We present something into which you can sink the teeth of your emotional feelings and passions, as God the Holy Ghost has reminded Us.

Returning to the subject of Our “NON LICET!”, does not the rejection of Our “NON LICET!” [It is not permitted!] force all sincere, honest, Catholics to logically, objectively, and liturgically conclude that said Hierarchs and other Clergy of the Vatican 2 church LOVE the NEW MASS, a.k.a. the NOVUS ORDO RITE, a.k.a. the NOVUS ORDO MISSAE, or at least TOLERATE IT?!
IF this is true, then how is it that their LOVE or TOLERATION FOR THIS NEW MASS, a.k.a. the NOVUS ORDO RITE, does not force every sincere, honest, REAL CATHOLIC to logically and objectively conclude that said Hierarchs and other Clergy of the Vatican 2 church are in fact and in Truth, apparently born-again "Herods" who greatly enjoy the nude dancing, e.g. the NUDE NOVUS ORDO RITE made up by Pope JP-2, a.k.a. John-Paul 2, Karol Wyotya [Monday, October 16, 1978 - present], of this born-again PAGAN "RITE", of Herodias?!

THEN, DEAR CATHOLICS, you will be so happy that you, at least, took heed of Our “NON LICET!” [It is not permitted!] which We addressed to the Hierarchs and other Clergy of the Vatican 2 church about their using the NEW MASS, the NEW SACRAMENTS, and the NEW CATECHISM for the NEW CHURCH, the NEW RELIGION, the NEW SCHISM, the NEW HERESY, and the NEW APOSTASY covered with the devious cloak of NEWSPEAK by which they vainly try to defend their Satanic actions!

So, IF a person wants to really get technical on this point, and some become almost belligerent thinking and even sometimes accusing Us of being not only a Schismatic, but also a Heretic, when We prove to these poor, uninformed people, that the TRUTH of the matter is that it is the NEW BREED, so to speak, of the Vatican 2 church Priests and Prelates who are the ones who are the Schismatics andHeretics, they usually fall into a state of confusion or denial and totally ignore the Truth We have just explained to them, sometimes they even stopped their ears to try NOT to hear the Truth and to be able to persist in their ignorant denials!
SO, WHO IS THE REAL Schismatic and the REAL Heretic!?
EVERY Vatican 2 church POPE, CARDINAL, PRELATE AND PRIEST WHO USES THE "New Mass", the Novus Ordo Missae, IS DE FACTO A Schismatic and an automatically EXCOMMUNICATED Heretic!

N.B. A number of very important points have already been made above about Truth which will serve as important background information for you as you read what follows.
Now then, returning to the subject of Our writings, even for those people whose irrational fears We have calmed by proving to them that We are not a Schismatic, not a Heretic, some of them still feel "uneasy" about Our writings, usually without being able to give any specifics, only a "feeling", remarking how "different" Our writings are when compared to other modern-day Priests, Prelates and others.
While some people find Our writings refreshing, "like a breath of fresh air", as they have told Us, others, however, who are not accustomed to reading the Truth in a fairly straight-forward style, which follow the "laws" of correct thinking, find they have a kind of "uneasy feeling", as if "something" is wrong.
Unfortunately, most people have simply never been taught the correct way to think! This probably sounds strange to you?!
Here in the United States, before a person can get a driver's license, they must pass a vision test, a written exam and an actual driving test. The written and driving exams are used to determine if the perspective driver of a vehicle has sufficient knowledge of the rules of driving, or "rules of the road", as some call it. In other words, for a wide variety of circumstances, there are certain rules which the driver needs to know. If the driver does not know these rules of correct driving, said driver could end up causing an accident in which there would be a very real possibility of some people, including the said driver, being killed, or at least badly injured.
They same is also true with the "rules" of correct thinking! The sad thing is that the public schools, many of which here in the U.S., or so We have been given to understand, unofficially and subtly teach the pagan religion of Secular Humanism, by the same token, do NOT teach the "rules" of correct thinking! Whether or not this can be construed as the "victimization" of said students may be a subject open to debate. But what is unmistakable here is that, however it has come about, very few people know the "rules" of correct thinking! This ignorance can lead to confusion, misunderstandings, hard feelings, and certainly very poor communication.
What is so ironic is that when some of the people who, through no personal fault of their own, do not know the "rules" of correct thinking, come across a person who uses these rules, whether in speech or in writing, they have a natural tendency to "feel" some "concerns" that something is "wrong" or "not quite right", just because what the other person has said or written is so different from what has been familiar to them. It is like a foreign language to them!
After all, of those who never had the opportunity to learn the rules of correct thinking, how many of them do you think know, for example, what Epistemology is, or what the Truth of being is, or what the difference is between true or false judgment, or Metaphysical Truth, or Ontological Truth, or the predicables of species, genus, specific difference, property or attribute, and accident, or of Moral Truth, or Ethical Truth, the certitude of Truth, the criterion of Truth, etc., etc.??? IF people do not know what they are, how can they understand them, appreciate them and apply them in their own lives for correct thinking?!
Something new or different to what most people are accustomed can, humanly speaking, be kind of scary to some people or exciting and exhilarating to others! They can be a source of negative feelings of ignorance, of doubt, of insecurity and even an irrational fear, or a source of positive feelings, of adventure, of hope, of a quest and thirst for knowledge, especially among those who have a passionate love for the Truth! Then, too, some people do not want to know the Truth about something if it is bad because they have already overdosed on mostly bad news from their daily newspaper or nightly news reports.
Our past experience has revealed that some people really are fearful of the Truth just because it is the Truth - i.e. they have a phobia about Truth itself! We have had instances in the past where some people have stubbornly refused to hear anything We had to say! Such poor people will do almost anything NOT to hear the Truth, so great is their irrational fear of the Truth of what they do not already know! The expression "Ignorance is bliss" seems to best describe them? One is left to wonder how they managed to get through school?!
For example, Grade School is supposed to be a place where children is sent to learn things which are True, e.g. Religious Truths, Mathematical Truths, etc.! What kind of a school would it be which only taught errors?! Who ever heard of a school which teaches it pupils only errors, lies, fallacies and other falsehoods??! We could understand why pupils who would go to these kinds of schools would be fearful! But pupils who go to schools which teach the Truth should not be fearful because such pupils are set free from ignorance, the consequence of Original Sin!
The bottom line is that FREEDOM comes with a KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH! People who are fearful of the Truth are really slaves to ignorance and even sometimes to sin! And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free (John 8:32).
However, because the object of the Intellect is an objective, universal, absolute Truth, as explained in detail above, the Intellect, which is one of the two powers of the Soul, can not correctly function unless it does everything possible to ascertain the Truth and thereupon to possesses the Truth.
But the term "Ignorance is bliss" is much more than a Sophist fallacy. It can also lead to "affected ignorance" which, regarding moral and ethical issues, can even be sinful, as the Angelic Doctor tersely observes:
Affected ignorance does not excuse from guilt, but rather aggravates it since it shows that a man is so strongly attached to sin that he wishes to incur ignorance lest he avoid sinning. The Jews therefore sinned, as crucifiers not only of the Man-Christ, but also as of God (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D. in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA III, 47, 5 Reply to Objection 3).We would certainly hope that no one attempts to wheedle the calloused cudgel engraved with vituperative "anti-Semitism" with which to slash the Angelic Doctor who has been proposed as a model for all Seminarians, as you read:
We exhort you, Venerable Brethren, in all earnestness to restore the golden wisdom of St. Thomas, and to spread it far and wide for the defense and beauty of the Catholic faith, for the good of society, and for the advantage of all the sciences... It has been brought to Our attention that not everyone completely reads what We write. Too bad because such people miss a great deal and might possibly tend to form erroneous judgments? Such action is, in principal, somewhat similar to the person who, in reading a few verses in a Bible, would be so bold as to make a judgment to the effect that God does not exist!?
To support such a strange claim, the private "judge" would be eager to quote the Bible where it says: There is no God (Psalm 13:1; Psalm 52:1)!
Yet to do so would be both unfair and unjust! WHY? Because not only would such private judgment have erroneously judged by taking this quote out of context, but it would also have erred by making use of a classical Fallacy known as the ARGUMENTUM AD IGNORANTIAM which Scholastic Philosophy classifies as one of the Extradictional Fallacies known as a Material Fallacy in which the born-again Sophist counts on the ignorance of his audience and takes advantage of it to conceal the weakness of his own case or in order to misrepresent the case of his opponent. Fallacies are evil insofar as they block the Truth, or rather, attempt to block the Truth. We remind you that the Angelic Doctor teaches that God IS Truth (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D., in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA I, l16, 5 and II-II, 93, 2 reply to objection 2; SUMMA CONTRA GENTILES I, 60; emphasis added)?
The context of the above Fallacies breaks this blockage to the Truth, because the full text reads: The fool hath said in his heart: There is no God.
What a difference of meaning!
So also, then, on a very small scale this same situation can sometimes happen with those who decide to read only a portion of whatever it is they are reading, no matter who the author might be.
However, there are exceptions. For example, if one is reading a secular newspaper or a magazine, or a novel, or something of relative unimportance, skipping around, or reading only the first paragraph, could even be necessary?!
But, in reading serious and/or technical works, such a scenario can give the reader a false impression of what the author has written. For example, We recall in reading the book by Father Malachi Martin, S.J. (R.I.P.) entitled WINDSWEPT HOUSE he did not explain the meaning of the title of his book until around page 50 or so! Having lived in Galveston, Texas for a time, (Galveston was the setting for the title - WINDSWEPT HOUSE), We found some of what he wrote very intriguing, not to mention having known some of the other actual people in his "fiction" whom he mentions, although some characters were composites of several other real people!
(N.B. We supplied Father with some of the information which he later used in this book! We were able to identify this material, after the book was published, because it was very evident to Us as We read it from cover to cover.),
The bottom line is this: Even secular society is wont to say: "It ain't over, 'till it's over!" (Didn't Yoga Berra, the perennial catcher for the New York Yankees baseball team say something like this?)
If nothing else, look at reading something in its entirety from a Spiritual Perspective for a change! A Spiritual Perspective will explain to you that to read something entirely is an opportunity! It is really a Spiritual opportunity, not only to take a breather from the overload so many people have today, but also to offer up the inconvenience of such a reading activity as an act of penance or mortification for the Poor Souls in Purgatory! So, how many souls can be released from Purgatory just for reading such material?!
By the way, Purgatory IS real! We can always tell when souls in Purgatory have been permitted to come to Us to ask Us to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for them - the sulfur smell is unmistakable - and they make so much noise rattling non-existent things, like paper, in the corner of Our bedroom, or lift the bed covering off Our feet at the end of the bed, or similar things! Of course, once We offer the Mass for them, everything is quiet once again and sometimes the fragrance of living roses can be detected - even during the winter when it sometimes gets all the way down to -35 degrees outside and with two or three feet of snow on the ground besides! No, it is not my imagination either!
THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST
The question has arisen as to WHY other Prelates and Priests have apparently not come forward as quickly as We did with Our Review of this movie in the March 1, 2004 edition of this magazine to supply some kind of counter-weight to some of the secular trashing of this movie by some of the allegedly Zionist-controlled media in the United States and elsewhere.
First, We don't keep track of what Prelates and Priests do who are not under Our Jurisdiction. We would hope that at least some of them would have encouraged their adult Laity to see this movie and possibly take a non-Catholic friend with them.
We understand that many Protestants consider this movie a wonderful evangelization tool! We would agree with that!
So, what is the "problem" with some of the nominal "Catholic" Clergy who seem to have gone into hiding on this subject. Such behavior reminds one of what all of the Apostles did, except for Saint John (of course Judas had already committed suicide before that time), when Christ was dying on His Cross! The big, strong male Apostles ran and hid, at least until they received God the Holy Ghost on that first Pentecost Sunday!
Do the actions of some of these nominal "Catholic" Clergy, who seem to have gone into hiding on this subject, seem to suggest to you that they are waiting for God the Holy Ghost before they can FEARLESSLY go forth to convert the world to Christ!?
Keeping in mind that humility is Truth, in all humility, in all Truth, We can clearly say that WE HAVE received God the Holy Ghost, and not just in the Sacrament of Confirmation, but especially in the Sacrament of the Priesthood and most especially in the fullness of the Sacrament of Holy Orders, the Sacrament of the Episcopacy in the Catholic Church!
By the way, for many, many years various people have asked Us what We are. When We tell them that We are a Catholic Prelate who, by the Most Holy Will and Grace of God, is a member in good standing in the Catholic Church, they go away scratching their heads! They do not understand Our answer!
A person is either a Catholic or is not a Catholic! We are a Catholic! The Ścumenical Council of Chalcedon [451 A.D.] teaches dogmatically: We have only ONE doctrine; this is the Faith of the Doctors of the Church; this is the Faith of the Holy Apostles; this is the Faith which has saved the world (Op. Cit.).
We use the Catholic Rite of the Mass which some liturgists call "The Ancient Roman Rite", which is the "Old Latin Mass" as it was before the changes began to be made to the MISSALE ROMANUM, beginning with the dumping of the revered Psalter of Saint Jerome in the 1944 edition!
In Our Booklet, WELCOME TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!, We have recapped what We and Our brother Bishops do who are members of the COMMUNIO or Communion of Catholic Bishops of the Catholic Church:

The HOLY ZEAL one experiences upon receiving the Sacrament of the Priesthood, and most especially the Sacrament of the Episcopacy, in receiving God the Holy Ghost in this way, can not be described in finite human words!
Perhaps the best way to begin to describe this HOLY ZEAL which burns within one's very being, is something like physically being with Our Blessed Mother, the Holy Women and the Apostles on that First Pentecost Sunday!! Only now, thanks to the Internet, We can speak to the whole world almost instantaneously!
Let it not be objected, therefore, that Our Zeal for the Truth, for the Greater Honor and Glory of God and the Salvation of Immortal Souls, and for Our defense of Jesus Christ, as well as Mel Gisbson and especially his movie, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, in the Review of this movie We wrote in the previous issue of Catholic, of March 1, 2004, is responsible for what some might like to claim is, in their minds, nothing short of, "hatred"!
On the contrary, it seems to Us that IF such a position were to be taken, in Truth it could be said to proceed from either a convoluted misinterpretation of what We have written or from a darkness from which springs the proverbial dagger of the mind, a false creation, proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain (William Shakespeare, THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH [1606], Act II, Scene I, Soliloquy of MACBETH)?
Such a fallacy reminds one that, sad to say, there are many of our contemporaries who are in need of our prayers for their conversion. Part of the problem goes back to these people, through no personal fault, at least We impute this to them, in not being taught the rules of correct thinking. It would seem that once a person has been "victimized" in this way, such "victimization" tends to go with them for the rest of their lives?!
Perhaps this "victimization" can also be considered, at least to some extent, as the cause for a lack of a love for the Truth? Unfortunately, those who do not love the Truth are punished by God, as God the Holy Ghost testifies through the pen of Saint Paul:
And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the Love of the Truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the Truth, but have consented to iniquity (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11; emphasis added).Therefore, it should come as a surprise to no one that Almighty God punished certain people in this way almost 2,000 years ago, as God the Holy Ghost testifies: the Light [Christ is "the Light of the world" (John 8:12)] shineth in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:5) BECAUSE the darkness was condemned to darkness as their punishment from God because they receive not the Love of the Truth.
Unhappily, this darkness is still found in many today. Thus, when darkness reads what We have written, whether in Our Review, or in this Editorial, or in Our Books, Booklets, or when darkness hears what is said on Our TV programs, etc., and deliberately choose to misinterpret Our Zeal and the Truth of what We write or what We say as "hatred", just remember that God has sent them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the Truth, but have consented to iniquity. Under such circumstances, one should be surprised if darkness were to believe the Truths We posit in Our written and spoken words! After all, why would, or rather, how can, "darkness" believe the Truth?!
Let none of the darkness today, therefore, object claiming that Our Zeal is somehow "evil" since it is the effect of a "hatred" which some would impute to Us! On the contrary, the Angelic Doctor clearly teaches: zeal is set down as an effect of love rather than of hatred (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Wednesday, March 7, 1274 A.D. in Fossa Nuova, Italy], Doctor of the Church, SUMMA THEOLOGICA I-II, 28, 4, Reply to Objection 3; emphasis added).
In this way, the Truth We write and the Truth We speak comes from a Zeal born of love, of Charity, which is Love of God. Thus the Motto of Our Coat of Arms: Charitas Christi Urget Nos. ("The Charity of Christ urges Us on" [2 Corinthians 5:14]).
Truth = Hatred?
Another question has also arisen. It seems that some good, honest, and sincere people have tried to defend either or both Mel Gibson and his movie, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST. In this context, some of the critics and complainers, with whom these charitable defenders have been talking, or writing, have accused such defenders of being guilty of HATRED! Some of the defenders of this movie and/or Mel Gibson, have complained to Us that they do not understand any of this because all they are doing is speaking the Truth! They are upset and have asked Us for direction on how to respond to these kinds of perfidious accusations by such critics and complainers.
We can empathize with these sincere Catholics because for many, many decades We, too, have personally come into contact with critics and complainers like this! Most probably one or more of them will also arise to attack Our Review, in the previous issue of this Magazine, Catholic, of March 1, 2004, of the movie by Mel Gibson, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, or even possibly this Editorial, or something else from Us? However, We also expect that others will be more sincere and weigh Our writings in a more objective sense, as some already have done.

First of all, then, to those of you who have tried to defend the movie, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST and/or Mel Gibson, We congratulate you and thank you because you defend Christ and the historical Truths, recounted in this movie from one or more of the Four Gospels, the Holy Word of God!
Also, We thank those of you who have given Us such positive feedback about our Review of this movie which appeared in the March 1, 2004 issue of Catholic.
Our Public Apology
Second, We publicly apologize to Mel Gibson for what We wrote in Our Review of his movie where We were discussing two omissions in his movie when compared to the New Testament of the Bible, specifically where We wrote in part:
"It was Our understanding that Mel Gibson wanted everything to be as authentic as possible, down to the last detail."We were in error on this point! Since writing Our Review, We have been given to understand that although Mel Gibson was asked by some Jews to delete the scene in which all of the people cried out: His blood be upon us and our children (Matthew 27:25), he did NOT do this, but instead Mel Gibson DID leave this scene in the movie!!"It seems to Us that he succeeded in most areas except for at least three important things...Thirdly, in THE PASSION, the whole people do NOT answer Pilate, they are silent. On the contrary, the Gospel of Saint Matthew clearly proves that it was the whole people answering who said: His blood be upon us and our children. And NOW they wonder why God has cursed them for almost 2,000 years?!"
"Even the Apostle reminds the Jews that they crucified Christ, as the Scripture testifies:
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by Him, in the midst of you, as you also know:
23 This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, YOU by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain. (Acts of the Apostles 2:22-23)."
However, We missed this scene, as perhaps some of you did too? It turns out that the English sub-title was NOT used for this scene!
Therefore, Our heart-felt and most public apology to Mel Gibson for this error on Our part! Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa! (Mel - a Traditionalist Catholic - knows what this means since it comes from the Confiteor which the Celebrant of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass says during his Prayers at the Foot of the Holy Altar in the Offering of the Mass according to the Ancient Roman Rite of the Catholic Church..)
Truth IS Hatred?
Now for the requested direction on how to respond to such critics with this type of perfidious accusation. This quasi- anagram, stated as Truth = Hatred, is really the same thing as saying Truth IS Hatred because the = sign means IS. In mathematics, a person writes 2 + 2 = 4. But, in verbal speech, a person will frequently say 2 and 2 IS 4. So, the same thing is true here.
Our first suggestion is to try NOT to hate the critic who uses the "hatred" word. Such people really do not know any better AND they also need your prayers because they are ignorant of the correct rules to use for correct thinking and, unfortunately, some of them could possibly also be haters of the Truth!
Such critics could also be suffering from additional problems? One problem possibly could be ignorance, not only of what the Catholic Church actually teaches, not just in regard to her doctrinal and moral teachings, but also an ignorance of Ecclesiastical History, of Hermeneutics, of Patristics, etc., which are usually only studied by Seminaries studying to be future Priests.
Our past experience has been that critics have not studied, and really do not care to study, such subjects. Therefore, they are really not qualified to surreptitiously make biased, personal judgments, based only upon their own opinionated whims and personal prejudices. Unfortunately, some critics go a step further by arrogantly and aggressively attempting to pillorize the writings or other works, including movies, of those who have a working knowledge of such subjects. Said critics frequently perform their pompous theatrical display of temper tantrums which are vomited forth from the Spiritual diseases of pride and exalted egotism.
Another reason might possibly be the result of the victimization of said critics by the proverbial Pavlovian procedural protocols, or, to use Anglo-Saxon English, subtle brainwashing, sometimes by certain suspect synagogue or ecclesiastical leaders.
Yet another reason could be the result of victimization by today's secular society which is morally adrift upon a wild ocean churning with the errors of Secular Humanism which is not really interested in the absolute, objective Truth about someone or something, but rather in building a convoluted cathartic "consensus", which is nothing less than a choreographed cacophony of contradictions, to which the will of the collective consciousness of all must submit in order to obtain at least a whit of an artificialized stacte, the revival effect of which is designed to displace the congregate stasis with such fanfaronade fusion, or perhaps more accurately, transfusion, of gnosis to hipsters of the new generation of jaundiced zombies spoon fed the pabulum of an archaeopteryx in desperate need of an immediate radical lobotomy by the professionals at the Quality Control Consortium!
To make matters worse, so many of Our secular contemporaries, who are adrift on this seething sea of Secular Humanism, are likewise frequently buffeted by gale storm winds, replete with the lightnings, thunders, sheets of rain, waterspouts and thunderstorms of the heresy of Modernism, of which you read:
And now with Our eyes fixed upon the whole system, no one will be surprised that We should define it [Modernism] to be the synthesis of all heresies and thus vehemently condemned by a Saint! (Pope Saint Pius X, Giuseppe Sarto [Tuesday, August 4, 1903 - Thursday, August 20, 1914], Encyclical PASCENDI DOMINICI GREGIS, On the Doctrine of the Modernists, Sunday, September 8, 1907, ¶ 39 emphasis added.)Unfortunately, it seems many of the future Clergy already in many Roman Catholic Seminary systems in 1907 had already been indoctrinated with the heresy of Modernism!? From these Seminarians eventually came the new crop of Roman Catholic Priests as well as future Bishops, Cardinals and Popes!
On Friday, July 13, 1917, at the Cova da Iria (Cove of Peace), near Fatima, Portugal, Our Blessed Mother, as Our Lady of Fatima, gave the three little children a Secret which contained three major parts. The first two were revealed many years ago and had to do with the end of World War I and the beginning of World War II.
The Third Secret of Fatima warns faithful Catholics about the evils of Synod Vatican 2 [Thursday, October 11, 1962 - Wednesday, December 8, 1965]! This explains, at least in part, why the 2nd Pope John 23, Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli [Tuesday, October 28, 1958 - Monday, June 3, 1963], consigned the Third Secret of Fatima to the "black hole" of the Vatican archives so he could have his Synod! Thus, the heresy of Modernism, which saturated much of the Clergy in the first half of the 20th Century, culminated in the convulsions known to history as Synod Vatican 2 [Thursday, October 11, 1962 - Wednesday, December 8, 1965].
For the record, it should be remembered that this PASTORAL Synod, as the 2nd Pope John 23, Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli [Tuesday, October 28, 1958 - Monday, June 3, 1963] styled it, by definition can NOT issue any decrees. Yet Synod Vatican 2, by praxis (IN PRACTICE), did this anyway, even if not formally, despite their NEWSPEAK to the contrary!
[Synod Vatican 2 was] the greatest disaster in recent ecclesiastical history (Cardinal Siri, Archbishop of Genoa; from Pontiff, p. 369 - Gordon Thomas/Max Morgan Witts).
[Synod Vatican 2 was] a sinister farce acted out by three thousand good-for-nothings, some of whom, despite the gold [pectoral] crosses on their chests, don't even believe in the Trinity or the Virgin (Bishop Antonio Romeo of the Sacred Congregation of Rites in Bob Considine's column ON THE LINE in the NEW YORK JOURNAL AMERICAN of Friday, November 27, 1964.
Is it any wonder, then, that even some statues of Our Lady of Fatima are crying? Just as Our Lady of Sorrows cried for the terrible sufferings of her Divine Son's PHYSICAL BODY, during His Passion almost 2,000 years ago, so also now Our Lady of Sorrows is crying for the terrible sufferings of her Divine Son's MYSTICAL BODY, the members of the Catholic Church today! But Why?
Because "Jolly John", as the secular media styled the 2nd Pope John 23, Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli [Tuesday, October 28, 1958 - Monday, June 3, 1963] DISOBEYED Our Blessed Mother by refusing to reveal the Third Secret of Fatima to the world, or at least to all Catholics, in 1960!
Also, Our Lady of Sorrows is crying at THE PASSION of the MYSTICAL BODY of her Divine Son, Jesus Christ because most Catholics have ignored God's Peace Plan which she brought to the war-ravaged world at Fatima in 1917!
To make matters even worse, most people who go to the Vatican 2 church do not even have the foggiest clue that anything is wrong! One has observed them totally oblivious to what all of the changes made by Synod Vatican 2 to the Catholic Faith, Mass and Sacraments really mean!
Such a terrible wholesale victimization of immortal souls by their Clergy shall call forth the Wrath of the Just Judge, Jesus Christ, upon the Day of Judgment on these Clergy who have so misled their own people! No wonder Saint Peter prophecized: For the time is, that judgment should begin at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17)!

Beginning with Synod Vatican 2, We have begun to witness the fulfilling of this Prophecy of Our Blessed Mother: Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of anti-Christ (Our Lady of LaSalette, part of the Secret she gave to Frances Melanie Mathieu on Saturday, September 19, 1846.)
Now perhaps some of you might have taken scandal at some of these historical Truths We have just revealed? Yet, scandal taken is not always scandal given. In this case, We have given no scandal. Of course that can not be said for the 2nd Pope John 23 or for the sinister farce acted out by three thousand good-for-nothings, some of whom, despite the gold [pectoral] crosses on their chests, don't even believe in the Trinity or the Virgin!
Perhaps some of you might even consider that Our presenting these historical Truths to you is nothing short of hatred on Our part for the 2nd Pope John 23 or for the three thousand good-for-nothings, some of whom, despite the gold [pectoral] crosses on their chests, don't even believe in the Trinity or the Virgin who attended Synod Vatican 2?!
IF this is from where you are coming, then in your mind, in your feelings, your emotions, you must logically conclude and believe that Truth IS Hatred because We have only spoken the Truth! And, remember, Every Truth without exception, and whoever may utter it, is from the Holy Ghost (Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., [b. 1225 A.D. in Rocca Secca, Naples, Italy - d. Therefore, anyone who would take the position that Truth IS Hatred is in error because it should be self-evident here that God is Truth? Imitation of Christ
The short answer for how to respond to such critics is to imitate Christ. Remember, Christ had His critics and chronic complainers, too, who also refused to believe the Truth! Below are a few random examples of how Christ dealt with obnoxious carunculated critics who went off half-cocked, crowing their sun-dialed watches in a state of perpetual ruffled feathers, impervious to the goose-stepped march of time, the duration of that which changes, and the whiny, wimpy, chronic complainers who whet their self-imposed job description with self-righteous whiffles of grim, grumpy grumbles.
16 But whereunto shall I esteem
this generation to be like? It is like to children sitting in the market
place.
17 Who crying to their companions
say: We have piped to you, and you have not danced: we have lamented, and
you have not mourned.
18 For John came neither eating
nor drinking; and they say: He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating
and drinking, and they say: Behold a man that is a glutton and a wine drinker,
a friend of publicans and sinners. And wisdom is justified by her children.
20 Then began He to upbraid the
cities wherein were done the most of His miracles, for that they had not
done penance.
21 Woe to thee, Corozain, woe
to thee, Bethsaida: for if in Tyre and Sidon had been wrought the miracles
that have been wrought in you, they had long ago done penance in sackcloth
and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, it shall
be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment, than for you.
23 And thou Capharnaum, shalt
thou be exalted up to heaven? thou shalt go down even unto hell. For if
in Sodom had been wrought the miracles that have been wrought in thee,
perhaps it had remained unto this day.
24 But I say unto you, that it
shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than
for thee.
25 At that time Jesus answered
and said: I confess to thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because
thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed
them to the little ones.
26 Yea, Father; for so hath it
seemed good in thy sight" (Matthew 11:16-26; emphasis added).
This Gospel tells us that Christ told the Jews to what He compared their generation, namely like a bunch of mocking children, first complaining about Saint John the Baptist, who came neither eating nor drinking; and they say: He hath a devil.
Christ then continues saying how these complaining kids next set their sights on Him saying: Behold a man that is a glutton and a wine drinker, a friend of publicans and sinners.
So how does Christ respond to such an adolescent adult behavior of the Jews of His generation? Christ began He to upbraid the cities wherein were done the most of His miracles, for that they had not done penance.
Despite His many miracles, the Jewish people of His generation in places like Corozain, Bethsaida, and Capharnaum who had witnesses His miracles did NOT listen to Him and therefore they did NOT do penance! Remember, how Jesus began to preach, and to say: DO PENANCE, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17; emphasis added). But the people ignored Him!
How many of you remember the fact that the worldly, self-righteous critics and complainers of Christ, most especially some of the leaders of the Jews, tried to tell Christ that He performed His miracles by the power of Satan! How insulting! What a brood of self-righteous, arrogant, haughty brood of vipers! How did Christ respond to these good-for-nothings? Here is the context from the Gospel.
22 Then was offered to Him one
possessed with a devil, blind and dumb: and He healed him, so that He spoke
and saw.
23 And all the multitudes were
amazed, and said: Is not this the son of David?
24 But the Pharisees hearing
it, said: This man casteth not out the devils but by Beelzebub the prince
of the Devils.
25 And Jesus knowing their thoughts,
said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself shall be made desolate:
and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.
26 And if Satan cast out Satan,
he is divided against himself: how then shall his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast
out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall
be your judges.
28 But if I by the Spirit of
God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.
29 Or how can any one enter into
the house of the strong, and rifle his goods, unless he first bind the
strong? and then he will rifle his house.
30 He that is not with Me, is
against Me: and he that gathereth not with Me, scattereth.
31 Therefore I say to you: Every
sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit
shall not be forgiven.

a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall
speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in

33 Either make the tree good
and its fruit good: or make the tree evil, and its fruit evil. For by the
fruit the tree is known.
34 O Generation of Vipers, how
can you speak good things, whereas you are evil? for out of the abundance
of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of a good treasure
bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of an evil treasure bringeth
forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, that every
idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in
the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt
be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
38 Then some of the Scribes and
Pharisees answered him, saying: Master we would see a sign from thee.
39 Who answering said to them:
An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign: and a sign shall not
be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
40 For as Jonas was in the whale's
belly three days and three nights: so shall the Son of man be in the heart
of the earth three days and three nights.
41 The men of Ninive shall rise
in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they did
penance at the preaching of Jonas. And behold a Greater than Jonas here.
42 The queen of the south shall
rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because she
came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold
a Greater than Solomon here.
43 And when an unclean spirit
is gone out of a man he walketh through dry places seeking rest, and findeth
none.
44 Then he saith: I will return
into my house from whence I came out. And coming he findeth it empty, swept,
and garnished.
45 Then he goeth, and taketh
with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in
and dwell there: and the last state of that man in made worse than the
first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation. (Matthew 12:22-45).
The leaders of the Jews were obviously jealous of Christ and of the Truth He taught. They even tried to kill Him on the spot several times because the Jews, especially some of the leaders of the Jews, HATED Christ and tried to kill Him!
WHY is it that some of the Jews of today conveniently gloss over this self-evident HATRED of their forefathers towards Jesus Christ and yet today yell and scream the HATRED word against all of us who would defend Christ and the Truth He taught! What a double-standard and double-minded culture and society! They should be ashamed of themselves! No wonder those who are worldly, materialistic and who want an EARTHLY KING will accept THE anti-Christ as their WORLDLY KING!
12 Again therefore, Jesus spoke
to them, saying: I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me, walketh
not in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
13 The Pharisees therefore said
to Him: Thou givest testimony of Thyself: Thy testimony is not true.
14 Jesus answered, and said to
them: Although I give testimony of Myself, My testimony is True: for I
know whence I came, and whither I go: but you know not whence I come, or
whither I go.
15 You judge according to the
flesh: I judge not any man.
16 And if I do judge, My judgment
is true: because I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent Me.
17 And in your law it is written,
that the testimony of two men is true.
18 I am One that give testimony
of Myself: and the Father that sent Me giveth testimony of Me.
19 They said therefore to Him:
Where is thy Father? Jesus answered: Neither Me do you know, nor My Father:
if you did know Me, perhaps you would know My Father also.
20 These words Jesus spoke in
the treasury, teaching in the temple: and no man laid hands on Him, because
His hour was not yet come.
21 Again therefore Jesus said
to them: I go, and you shall seek Me, and YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SIN. Whither
I go, you cannot come.
22 The Jews therefore said: Will
He kill himself, because He said: Whither I go, you cannot come?
23 And He said to them: You are
from beneath, I am from above. YOU ARE OF THIS WORLD, I AM NOT OF THIS
WORLD.
24 Therefore I said to you, that
you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I am He, you shall
die in your sin.
25 They said therefore to him:
Who art Thou? Jesus said to them: The Beginning, Who also speak unto you.
26 Many things I have to speak
and to judge of you. But he that sent Me, is True: and the things I have
heard of Him, these same I speak in the world.
27 And they understood not, that
he called God his Father.
28 Jesus therefore said to them:
When you shall have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know, that
I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself, but as the Father hath taught
Me, these things I speak:
29 And He that sent Me, is with
Me, and He hath not left Me alone: for I do always the things that please
Him.
30 When He spoke these things,
many believed in Him.
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews,
who believed Him: If you continue in My word, you shall be My disciples
indeed.
32 And you shall know the Truth,
and the Truth shall make you free.
33 They answered Him: We are
the seed of Abraham, and we have never been slaves to any man: how sayest
Thou: you shall be free?
34 Jesus answered them: Amen,
amen I say unto you: that whosoever committeth sin, is the servant of sin.
35 Now the servant abideth not
in the house for ever; but the Son abideth for ever.
36 If therefore the Son shall
make you free, you shall be free indeed.
37 I know that you are the children
of Abraham: but you seek to kill Me, because My Word hath no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have
seen with My Father: and you do the things that you have seen with your
father.
39 They answered, and said to
Him: Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them: If you be the children
of Abraham, do the works of Abraham.
40 But now you seek to kill Me,
a man who have spoken the Truth to you, which I have heard of God. This
Abraham did not.
41 You do the works of your father.
They said therefore to him: We are not born of fornication: we have one
Father, even God.
42 Jesus therefore said to them:
If God were your Father, you would indeed love Me. For from God I proceeded,
and came; for I came not of Myself, but He sent Me: (John 8:12-42).
Because the people to whom Christ is preaching are worldly, materialistic, and not Spiritual and not lovers of the Truth, they do not understand what Christ is teaching. Assuredly it would seem they clearly understood Christ when He told them YOU ARE OF THIS WORLD, but many of the other things they did not understand and even argued with Him saying We are the seed of Abraham, and we have never been slaves to any man: how sayest Thou: you shall be free?
Did Christ enter a popularity contest here and agree with them to be accepted by them? No! Jesus answered them: Amen, amen I say unto you: that whosoever committeth sin, is the servant of sin.
As a matter of fact, Christ Himself complains about them, as He continues to teach them the Truth which they reject because they are that darkness of which God the Holy Ghost tells us through the pen of Saint John: And the light shineth in darkness, and THE DARKNESS DID NOT COMPREHEND IT... He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the World knew Him not. He came unto His own, and HIS OWN RECEIVED HIM NOT (John 1:5, 10-11; emphasis added).
43 Why do you not know My speech?
Because YOU CANNOT HEAR MY WORD.
44 YOU ARE OF YOUR FATHER THE
DEVIL, AND THE DESIRES OF YOUR FATHER YOU WILL DO. He was a murderer from
the beginning, and he stood not in the Truth; because Truth is not in him.
When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the
father thereof.
45 BUT IF I SAY THE TRUTH, YOU
BELIEVE ME NOT.
46 Which of you shall convince
me of sin? If I say the truth to you, why do you not believe Me?
47 He that is of God, heareth
the words of God. Therefore you hear them not, because YOU ARE NOT OF GOD.
48 The Jews therefore answered,
and said to him: Do not we say well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast
a devil?
49 Jesus answered: I have not
a devil: but I honour My Father, and you have dishonoured Me.
50 But I seek not My own glory:
there is One that seeketh and judgeth.
51 Amen, amen I say to you: If
any man keep My word, he shall not see death for ever.
52 The Jews therefore said: Now
we know that Thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and
Thou sayest: If any man keep My Word, he shall not taste death for ever.
53 Art Thou greater than our
father Abraham, who is dead? and the prophets are dead. Whom dost Thou
make Thyself?
54 Jesus answered: If I glorify
myself, My glory is nothing. It is My Father that glorifieth Me, of whom
you say that He is your God.
55 And you have not known Him,
but I know Him. And if I shall say that I know Him not, I shall be like
to you, a liar. But I do know Him, and do keep His Word.
56 Abraham your father rejoiced
that he might see My day: he saw it, and was glad.
57 The Jews therefore said to
Him: Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast Thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said to them: AMEN,
AMEN I SAY TO YOU, BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS MADE, I AM.
59 THEY TOOK UP STONES THEREFORE
TO CAST AT HIM. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. (John
8:43-59).
Why did The Jews try to kill Christ? Because Christ identified Himself to them as God by saying BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS MADE, I AM.
Here is but one of many examples of how the Jews rejected the Truth Christ taught which is why the Jews will accept the lies that THE anti-Christ teaches as being the Truth!
The example Christ is giving all of His defenders today is that all of us must continue to repeat the Holy Truths which He taught! This is what the Apostles did!
Remember how the Scripture testifies to the historical Truth that at the same time, HEROD the king stretched forth his hands, to afflict some of the Church. And he KILLED JAMES, the brother of John, with the sword. AND SEEING THAT IT PLEASED THE JEWS, he proceeded to take up Peter also. (Acts of the Apostles 12:1-3; emphasis added).
Is not KILLING an act of HATRED? And yet the Scripture says that when Herod KILLED JAMES, Herod observed that this act of HATRED PLEASED THE JEWS! So today, THE JEWS have no moral justification to go around yelling and screaming about HATRED and anti-Semitism!
Whatever of this does exist today, perhaps among the pagan neo-Nazis or their ilk?, comes about because they are reaping the whirlwind of the HATRED which their forefathers sowed by their acts of HATRED against Jesus Christ and their acts of HATRED against the Catholic Church in the person of the Apostles like JAMES, the brother of John, and Peter also.
History also records how the Apostle Saint James the Just, the brother of Saint Jude Thaddeus, both of whom were first cousins of Jesus Christ, was killed by a Jewish mob in Jerusalem. Consider the Proto-Martyr, Saint Stephen, of whom we all read:
8 And Stephen, full of grace and
fortitude, did great wonders and signs among the people.
9 Now there arose some of that
which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and of the Cyrenians,
and of the Alexandrians, and of them that were of Cilicia and Asia, disputing
with Stephen.
10 And they were not able to
resist the wisdom and the spirit that spoke.
11 Then they suborned men to
say, they had heard him speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against
God.
12 And they stirred up the people,
and the ancients, and the scribes; and running together, they took him,
and brought him to the council.
13 And they set up false witnesses,
who said: This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place and
the law.
14 For we have heard him say,
that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change
the traditions which Moses delivered unto us.
15 And all that sat in the council,
looking on him, saw his face as if it had been the face of an angel. (Acts
of the Apostles 6:8-15; emphasis added).
The Scripture continues:
1 Then the high priest said: Are
these things so?
2 Who said: Ye men, brethren,
and fathers, hear...
51 You stiffnecked and uncircumcised
in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did,
so do you also.
52 Which of the prophets have
not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them who foretold of the
coming of THE JUST ONE; OF WHOM YOU HAVE BEEN NOW THE BETRAYERS AND MURDERERS:
53 Who have received the law
by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54 Now hearing these things,
they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed with their teeth at him.
55 But he, being full of the
Holy Ghost, looking up steadfastly to Heaven, saw the glory of God, and
Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And he said: Behold, I see the
Heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
56 And they crying out with a
loud voice, stopped their ears, and with one accord ran violently upon
him.
57 And casting him forth without
the city, THEY STONED HIM; and the witnesses laid down their garments at
the feet of a young man, whose name was Saul.
58 And they stoned Stephen, invoking,
and saying: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
59 And falling on his knees,
he cried with a loud voice, saying: Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.
And when he had said this, he fell asleep in the Lord. And Saul was consenting
to his death. (Acts of the Apostles 7:1-2; 51-59; emphasis added).
The stoning and killing of Saint Stephen is an obvious act of HATRED!
Below are two examples of ORGANIZED HATRED BY JEWISH HATE CRIMES COMMITTED AGAINST THE EARLY CHRISTIANS!
In the second example, We quote an Apostolic Father of the Catholic Church who was a martyr for the Catholic Faith and who, in a parley with a Jew, took the position that the Jews sent persons through the whole earth to spread calumnies on Christians!
In Our first example, We cite one author who explains how some of the Jews brought forth Roman persecution against the early Christians:
"IF in fact this environment of violence incited by the HATRED of the Jews was present, one easily understands the persecution through Nero..." [92]
In fact, they accused the Christians in a slanderous manner that they had even committed the disgusting crime of eating children at their ceremonies, [93] which naturally called forth alarm among the authorities and the Roman people. It is only too understandable that this constant play at intrigue, this persistent work of slander and blasphemy, which the Hebrews also unleash against those who disturb their plans, and carried out by thousands of individual persons in the Roman Empire, month by month, year by year, finally attained its goal against rising Christianity.
... In order to defend the truth, we will quote the reliable evidence of an authorized Jewish source, that of the famous Hebrew Rabbi Wiener, who in his work "The Jewish Food Laws," confesses that THE JEWS WERE THE INSTIGATORS OF THE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTIONS IN ROME. If one considers that under the rule of Nero in the year 65 of our calendar, when Rome had the Jewess Poppaea as Empress and a Jew as prefect of the city, the era of martyrs began which was to extend for over 249 years. [94]...Jehuda was "successful in the year 155 of our calendar in obtaining a command, according to which all Christians of Rome were to be sacrificed," and on grounds of which many thousands were killed. The executioners of the martyrs and Popes, Gayo and Marcelino were in fact Jews. [95] During three centuries the Christians showed heroic resistance, without answering violence with violence.

Lest you get the idea that ALL Church histories are not worth the paper on which they are printed, it is necessary to know exactly what the Archbishop had in mind. You can easily know this by reading what he wrote by way of explanation:
Those who have taken the trouble to look over the more usually read text-books of Church History at the present day, written by men opposed to the Catholic Church, though frequently blessed with no particular religious convictions themselves, will, we think, agree with us in this opinion, provided they approach the subject with calm and unbiased minds. In both of these, especially in the latter, much learning is expended to very little purpose that is commendable. While they may both be cited as pretty fair examples of the kind of historians we have been describing, they agree in one remarkable particular--in which most other productions emanating from men of a kindred spirit fully agree with them--they both present rather the shadows than the lights of Church History. Had their fixed purpose been to blacked the good and to brighten the bad, they would scarcely have written differently. Almost every vile schismatic and heretic is deified; almost every champion of orthodoxy and holiness is crucified with his divine Lord and Master! (Most Rev. We were given to understand back in 1981 that, long before that time, not only some textbooks, including, but not limited to, history books, but also some dictionaries, had already been rewritten to some extent, especially those used in High Schools, Colleges and Universities in the United States! According to various news reports, from time to time, over the last 10 to 15 years, there have been debates in various schools districts between parents and boards of education about "sanitized" or otherwise "updated" history books which omit various important historical events in American history and insert various unimportant history, at least on a national level, of various kinds, some of which history is questionable at best.
So then, by way of summary, for those of you who would defend Christ and the Truths He taught, We hope that the above Scripture passages will help you to better understand how Christ dealt with His critics and complainers.
Be prepared for those people who do not want to hear the Truth and who even stop their ears! They have free will to accept or reject the Truth. Many of us tend to forget that Christ lost almost all of His followers after He taught them about the Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist!
60 These things he said, teaching

So, today, when you try to tell people the Truth about Christ, His teachings, His Passion and Death, the HATRED of the Jews for Him and their HATRED for the early Christians which resulted in HATE CRIMES being committed against the Christians of those day which resulted in the martyrdom of many for Christ, remember that most of them will tell you: THIS SAYING IS HARD, AND WHO CAN HEAR IT? because, in part, of their being conditioned by the propaganda of anti-Semitism!
